This Girl
I am so in love with this little lady. I keep calling her my 2 year old, forgetting that she still has 4 months to go before she actually is 2! Hazel seems so grown up to me. Her favorite word is, 'mama' but she also loves to say, 'Zelda', 'walk', 'gummy' and 'water'. She is feisty and loves wrestling with Zelda and Portia first thing in the morning. Outside she climbs right up the ladder to the monkey bars and really wants to swing across them. Climbing and dancing are her two favorite things. If you say the word dance she starts a little jig with lots of hand clapping and low knee bends until she falls on her bottom and starts to laugh. Hazel is so warm, so cuddly and so so sweet.

First Chocolate Milk
This little lady was in heaven last week when we stopped at the diner after music class. She carefully dipped her little straw into her cup to sip her, 'chocote milk'. Zelda was so excited. We had to bring it home and she put it on her little table where she looked at it and danced around it for the rest of the day.

New Shoes
Could these little feet be any sweeter? I needed to get the little bean a pair of canvas shoes for the playground. She loves the sandbox so much that any nice shoes get covered with sand very quickly. This pair we just got in the mail yesterday and are already stained with yogurt! She loves them though, her dad even has a matching pair.
I have been going a little bonkers buying clothes for this little lady recently. I haven't bought one onesie for the new baby, but Zelda is getting a new fall wardrobe. The toddler clothing is just really fun to buy and it's exciting to see her reaction to the clothes that we buy. She loves anything with animals on it, especially kitties!

Remember this?
This ad is before my time, but I remember the product.
When I was little we always kept Noxzema in our bathroom. I would stick my hands inside after a hot sunny day and my skin felt dry. My hands would come out super moist and smelly. Sometimes I would have sleepovers and my friends and I would give one another facials i.e. covered our skin with Noxzema until our entire face was stark white.
At what point did my parents throw away the big Noxzema tub in the bathroom and replace them with scentless Clinique hand lotion?
I miss those big tubs of cream.

My Machine
It came! My sweet little Zeno came in the mail and I have to say it is kind of fun. After opening it, I immediately charge the machine (for what feels like forever but is actually only a few hours). When the Zeno was charged I pushed the on button, waited for another light to tell me it was warming up then a green light appeared as if to say, "Let's fight these pimples!"
I quickly put the tip on my pimple and felt a hot, burning sensation. It hurt a tiny bit but I kept the tip of the Zeno on my face for the entire 2 and a half minutes the Zeno recommends. When I was done the area around my pimple looked kind of pink. The rest of the day I kept looking in the mirror and the pinkness gradually faded. That evening my pimple was still there, but the next morning it looked much smaller.
It might have been the fact that I liked both the way this machine looks or maybe I like referring to the pimple eliminating device as; 'my machine', but so far I am a big fan of the Zeno.

Welcome to the Beautiful and the Broke
No, I am not broke at the moment, but I do have a beauty product addiction that seriously hurts my checking account. How does this happen? Well, daily I find myself looking in the mirror and focusing on one of many flaws. Yesterday it was my uneven eyebrows, today the pimple placed in the center of my chin. Did I ignore the pimple? I tried to, I did try! But, I couldn't. Instead, I immediately went to Google and searched the term: acne treatment.
What did I find? I came up with lotions, cleansers, vitamins and zit zapping machines. What did I buy? I am awaiting the delivery of a zit zapping machine ($185) , a clay mask $10), a skin cleanser ($18) and a new resolution to drink less milk (not kidding one website said milk led to acne). How much did I spend? After shipping and taxes about $225.
I now anxiously await their arrival, I will let you know what works.
Might my pimple be gone by the time these products arrive? Perhaps, but I am armed and ready with products should another pop up.
